Thomas A. Amoroso, MD, MPH, FACEP(1) is an emergency physician who writes on health policy when the mood strikes him. He’s trying to get the mood to strike a bit more often recently and may have some luck with that. He’s now working in a sub-area of health policy, to wit: quality management. During the day, he works for a regional health plan in Massachusetts. During times when he’s not working, he takes photographs (which you’ll see occasionally), works on his house and garden, and generally is like all of you.
Needless to say, any and all opinions expressed here are mine, and mine alone. They do not represent the opinions of my employer, of any organized group of physicians (especially the AMA or the Massachusetts Medical Society, or the American College of Emergency Physicians, of which I am a member in two cases), or of any other person, entity, or government agency. Errors are likewise mine; please feel free to point them out. Be kind.
1) Yeah, that is a lot of post-nominal initials. I paid cash, time and sweat for all of them, though.
